PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — The newest addition to Park Slope's ever-growing crop of residential towers is almost ready for harvest.

Construction on Six Garfield, a 12-story condominium building along Fourth Avenue, is nearing complete, New York YIMBY first reported.

Work is anticipated to finish this winter, according to the report.

When done, the Garfield Place building's 33 units will join a recent boom of higher-end housing dotted along or near Fourth Avenue, the boundary between Park Slope and neighboring Boerum Hill and Gowanus.

One such building is 35 Fourth Ave., along Dean Street, which likewise appears to be nearing the end phases of construction.

The new additions literally stand in contrast to much of the brownstone-heavy neighborhood's housing.

And some Park Slopers over the years haven't been happy with the shape of recent construction, such as neighbors of a Third Street condo development who complained to Brooklyn Paper about its "obnoxious" bulkhead.
