3 Hurt In East Patchogue Crash [Video]

The crash Tuesday evening toppled a utility pole.

EAST PATCHOGUE, NY – Three people were injured in a two-car crash in East Patchogue Tuesday evening, Suffolk Police said.

According to police, Fifth Precinct officers responded to the crash on Montauk Highway near Americus Avenue at about 6:25 p.m. A 2007 Honda Accord was making a left turn when it struck a 2005 Nissan Murano, causing it to strike a utility pole.

The driver of the Honda, and the driver and a passenger in the Nissan were transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital in East Patchogue with non-life threatening injuries. Police did not release their names.
