Josh Gates From Discovery Channel's Emmy-Winning Hit, 'Expedition Unknown,' Coming To Patchogue
The explorer and TV host will take viewers around the world and off-the-map with stories from his greatest expeditions, show organizers say.

PATCHOGUE, NY — Explorer, talk show host, and author Josh Gates from Discovery Channel’s smash-hit Emmy-winning series, "Expedition Unknown," is coming on June 19 to the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.
Show organizers say Gates will take viewers around the world and off-the-map with stories from his greatest expeditions, as he presents his insights into the world’s greatest mysteries. The stories will run the gamut from hilarious misadventures to thrilling moments of discovery, as Gates keeps audiences on the edge of their seats, according to a promotion.
In his show, Gates, an archaeologist who is a member of The Explorers Club, visits locations across the globe, and in his studies, sheds new light on mysteries from history. The show won a daytime Emmy for the Best Travel and Adventure Show in 2025.

Tickets run from $56 to $86, including fees. A pre-show meet and greet add-on is also available.
