Bellport High School students Angelica Brito, Destiny Brooks, Juliette Cuccurese, Daniel Lewkoski, Emily Melgar, Gael Michel, Faith Rubio and Usman Zahid spent a recent sunny Saturday morning volunteering their time at VFW Post 8300 in Patchogue. The students assisted in cleaning up the grounds and spent time getting to know some of the VFW members. The volunteer experience was made possible through a community service collaboration between Bellport High School and the VFW post that provides students with an opportunity to obtain community service experience.
