  1. Suffolk County District Attorney Timothy D. Sini has announced the indictment of a Blue Point man for allegedly killing a man in a motor vehicle crash and fleeing police in a stolen vehicle. Robert Hengeveld, 50, is charged with Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, a class B felony, and Manslaughter. (LongIsland.com)
  2. Theatre for The Performing Arts schedule for 2022 is filling up fast, with headliners Colin Hay, American Idol-winner Ruben Studdard and the last living member of The Ramones. All concerts are already booked. (Greater Long Island)
  3. With locations already in Massapequa and Farmingdale, Burrito Mariachi opened a new location last month in Patchogue. The family-owned restaurant is launching a new drive-thru concept to make things more convenient for their customers. (LongIsland.com)
  4. Seniors across Long Island are frustrated with some increased Medicare costs coming in January 2022. The increase in Medicare part B premiums is causing concerns for some at the Huntington Senior Center. Medicare officials have said a large portion of the increase is because the insurance program might have to cover the cost of a new Alzheimer's medication. (News12)
