Man Arrested For Robbing 2 7-Elevens At Gunpoint: Police
BREAKING: The 35-year-old was arrested as he was leaving his job Monday night, police say.

RONKONKOMA, NY – A 35-year-old man has been arrested for back-to-back gunpoint robberies at 7-Eleven stores in Suffolk County on Monday, police said.
Daniel Riemenschneider, of Patchogue, is charged with two counts of first degree robbery and one count of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
According to Suffolk Police, Riemenschneider entered a 7-Eleven located at 139 Sunrise Highway in East Patchogue at about 1:30 a.m. Monday, displayed a gun and demanded cash from the clerk.

The clerk complied and Riemenschneider fled on foot, police said. Around 3:05 a.m., Riemenschneiderentered a 7-Eleven located at 863 Montauk Highway in Bayport, displayed a gun and demanded cash from the clerk, police said.
After an investigation, Fifth Squad detectives arrested Riemenschneider as he was leaving his workplace located on Ocean Avenue in Ronkonkoma at 7 p.m.

Riemenschneider was held overnight at the Fifth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.
