A 20-year-old man was robbed and assaulted in Patchogue Tuesday night, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, the victim was punched in the face by two other men on Bay Avenue near the railroad tracks at about 9:40 p.m.
The victim was knocked to the ground and the suspects stole cash and fled. The victim transported himself to the hospital for minor injuries. No arrests have been made.

The robbery occurred a week after a 52-year-old man was robbed and assaulted while walking on a Patchogue street.
