Man Struck With Gun, Robbed by Trio in Patchogue
The 52-year-old victim was walking when he was approached by three men Sunday night, police say.

A 52-year-old man was robbed and assaulted while walking on a Patchogue street Sunday night, Suffolk Police said.
It happened around 10:40 p.m. on Terry Street. According to police, the victim was walking when he was approached by three men who struck him in the head with a pistol and punched him.
The robbers stole a cellphone, cash, a wallet and credit card before fleeing. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
