- Police are seeking community help in the investigation of the death of an East Patchogue man. Benjamin Herold walked from 7-Eleven in East Patchogue back to his home on Atlantic Avenue on Oct. 30. He was found outside his home with a leg injury that resulted in his death. Police believe his injuries were the result of being struck by a vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call the police. (Newsbreak)
- Chamber of Commerce will host an Easter Egg Trail Hunt at Farmingville Hills County Park. The event is set for April 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The park is located at 501 Horseblock Ave., Farmingville. Tickets are $15 per child and the ages are 2-10 years. (Mommy Poppins)
- Village of Patchogue started the spring season with a new Starbucks that is now officially open on Main Street. The shop opens every day at 5 a.m., except on Sundays when it opens at 6 a.m. It closes at 10 p.m. each night. (Greater Long Island)
- Nearby News: State-of-the-art ground vehicle transportation center had its grand opening at MacArthur Airport. Thursday was a day to celebrate the new hub center for all ground vehicles like rental cars, taxi stands, and ride-hailing services. The center will open for customers on April 6. (News 12 Brooklyn)
