- Police are looking for a driver who fled a traffic stop and crashed into a telephone pole. Police spotted the Mazda with a Georgia license plate driving at a high speed at the LIE, east of exit 67 with two males inside. The car passenger was arrested but the driver is still being searched. A good amount of drugs and a stun gun found were found in the vehicle. (Patchogue Patch)

- Gardening season is finally here! Harmony Café in Patchogue is searching for volunteer garden teachers.
