1. Police are looking for a driver who fled a traffic stop and crashed into a telephone pole. Police spotted the Mazda with a Georgia license plate driving at a high speed at the LIE, east of exit 67 with two males inside. The car passenger was arrested but the driver is still being searched. A good amount of drugs and a stun gun found were found in the vehicle. (Patchogue Patch)

3. Gardening season is finally here! Harmony Café in Patchogue is searching for volunteer garden teachers. The opportunity will be discussed in a meeting on April 4 at 6:30 p.m. The Harmony Café is a nonprofit organization that spreads preventable and wellness through affordable healthy food.
