  1. Stereo Garde in Patchogue will host an Ozzmosis — A Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne / Black Sabbath. Sam Hunt, Ryan Hurd, and Lily-Rose will be performing on April 1 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for $15-20. Stereo Garden is located at 9 Railroad Ave., Patchogue. (LIE)
  2. Patchogue-Medford Public Library presents Van Gogh for kids! The art program is for grades K-3. Kids will learn about Vincent Van Gogh while painting a sunflower, which is one of his famous art pieces! The program is set for March 28 at 5 p.m. (CofC)
  3. On March 10, The Meat Ball Place in Patchogue hosted the fundraiser Cooking for Long Island veterans. The event brought the community together for the good cause of helping the nonprofit, which provides food for veterans who are homebound. Guests donated and participated in a 50/50 raffle. (LIA)
  4. Nearby News: A former Port Jefferson resident is facing charges after turning herself in for an elderly assault that resulted in death. Lauren Pazienza, 26, who lived on Old Homestead Road, is being charged with first-degree manslaughter after pushing an 87-year-old to the ground. The victim later died from her injuries.   5. Nonprofit Paws of War in Nesconset teamed up with an organization overseas to help refugees who fled from Ukraine to have essentials for their pets.
