Patchogue Village Meet The Candidates Night To Be Held Wednesday

A bipartisan question and answer session is open to the public.

PATCHOGUE, NY — With the Patchogue Village election coming up on March 18, residents can attend a bipartisan forum Wednesday to meet the candidates and ask them questions. The Patchogue Riverfront Neighborhood Association is hosting the event, which will be held at the Patchogue-Medford Library from 6 p.m. to 8:45 p.m in the main library's meeting room A.

Attendees can submit questions for the candidates in advance by emailing PatchogueRiverNeighborhood@gmail.com.

Incumbent mayor Paul Pontieri is running unopposed for what would be a fifth term. Three village trustee seats are open, with the three incumbents running for re-election along with one new candidate. Deputy mayor Jack Kriege and trustees Lori Devlin and Thomas Ferb are seeking re-election, while James Skidmore, former Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce president, is the new candidate, running as an independent.
