Roads To Close For Pride Parade In Patchogue

PATCHOGUE, NY — There are road is closures in Patchogue today, Sunday, June 4, to accommodate the Pride Parade, Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce official said.

West Main Street, between Ocean Avenue and West Avenue, is the first section of Main Street to close at 9 a.m. to allow for staging to be assembled.

All of Main Street between Route 112 to West Avenue and Ocean Avenue will close between Oak Street and Church Street at 11 a.m.

The parade kicks off at noon at Route 112 and East Main Street and will head down Main Street to West Avenue.

All roads should be open after 2 p.m.

A second parade is also taking place along Main Street in Babylon on Sunday.

"We welcome all to come join this family-friendly fun event that celebrates that everyone is welcome to be who you are in Patchogue," Chamber Executive Director David Kennedy said in an email to members.
