Silver Alert Issued For Missing Long Island Teen

Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Bellport teen who suffers from depression and bipolar disorder.

Alexandra Irace, 16, left her home in Bellport on Wednesday and told her family that she was going to the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove with friends. Irace’s cellphone was last tracked at the mall around 3 p.m. that day.

Irace is 5-foot-1, about 150 pounds, with brown curly hair, brown eyes and piercings in her bottom lip. She was wearing a white tank top, black shorts, green high top sneakers. She was carrying a black and gray backpack and may also be wearing a purple Bellport hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on Irace’s location is asked to call 911 or the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552.
