Suffolk Police Investigating Shots Fired In East Patchogue, Medford

The first was at 10:30 a.m. in East Patchogue, the second at 7:30 a.m. in Medford, and no one was injured, Suffolk police say.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Suffolk police are investigating two incidents involving shots fired in East Patchogue and Medford on New Year's Eve.

Shots were reported fired on Amsterdam Avenue in East Patchogue at 10:43 a.m. on Sunday.
Then again at 7:30 p.m. on Central Parkway in Medford.

No one was injured in either shooting.

Both shootings were ShotSpotter notifications and are being investigated by the 5th and 6th detective squads in Patchogue and Selden, respectively.
