Nov. 15, 2022

On November 9, Supervisor Ed Romaine joined, Kindergarten students and faculty at Charles E. Walters Elementary School in Yaphank to celebrate Veterans Day and to honor those who have served in the United States military. During the event, the Supervisor spoke of what Veterans Day means and how we should honor and respect the men and women who fought for our freedom.

Supervisor Romaine said, “I enjoy spending time with young students and helping them understand the meaning of Veterans Day. They are very enthusiastic to learn and ask some good questions. I thank Superintendent Lohman for inviting me and I look forward to returning next year.”
