• Lawler Secures House Passage of Bill to Name Holmes Post Office After Sheriff Adrian 'Butch' Anderson (house.gov) — Pawling residents may soon see a nearby post office renamed for former Village of Pawling mayor and longtime Dutchess County Sheriff Adrian “Butch” Anderson. The House has passed Rep. Mike Lawler’s bill to name the Holmes, NY post office in Anderson’s honor, recognizing his five decades of public service; the measure now heads to the Senate.
