PRHS Partners With I Donate Goods To Hold Clothing Drive

Participants will be able to donate wearable clothing and shoes as well as many other goods on Apr 21 & 22 at PRHS Pirate Cove.

From I Donate Goods: The Pearl River High School PTSA is partnering with I Donate Goods to hold their used clothing, textiles and shoes spring fundraising drive. Anyone and everyone is invited to bring clean, used clothing, shoes, accessories, and linens to the Pearl River High School Pirate Cove on Friday, April 21st between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 22nd between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. I Donate Goods will give the PTSA 16 cents per pound for items donated, plus another $100 bonus for every 5,000 pounds. The recycling company then sorts and packs the items into shipping containers to be sold to those in need, domestically and overseas.

Acceptable items for the drive include usable and wearable men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, paired shoes/sneakers/boots, belts, handbags, linens, sheets, and blankets.

I Donate Goods will not be accepting toys. Clothing and linens should be washed and packed into large plastic bags with ties. Pearl River High School is located at 275 East Central Avenue. The Pirate Cove is located near the gym/cafeteria entrance around the back of the building. Funds raised this year will continue to be used to support school programs.
