Mondiare Jones Condemns Lawler’s Support for Biden Impeachment

Former Congressman Mondaire Jones has called out Republican Congressman Mike Lawler for his vote to support a baseless impeachment inquiry into President Biden when a large majority of voters, including 30% of registered Republican voters, do not believe President Biden should be impeached.

“Mike Lawler's enthusiastic and misguided support of a baseless impeachment inquiry into President Biden is a reckless pursuit of MAGA Republican partisanship over the good of the country." said Jones. "Instead of working to lower prescription drug costs, pass gun safety legislation, and create jobs, Rep. Lawler, a political operative and lobbyist who worked to elect Donald Trump twice, is focused on political stunts that are a waste of congressional resources and contribute to being part of the least productive Congress since the Great Depression".

"This district is yearning for serious, results-oriented leadership in Congress, Jones added, stating he intends to "once again deliver lower costs for Lower Hudson Valley residents, defend our democracy, improve public safety, and stop Republicans from banning abortion.”
