O&R Donates $10,000 To Rockland Fire Volunteer Drive

The funds will be used to recruit and retain more volunteers to Rockland County's volunteer fire departments.

PEARL RIVER, NY July 1, 2016 --- O&R yesterday donated $10,000 to help support efforts to recruit and retain more volunteers to Rockland County’s volunteer fire departments.

O&R’s Regional & Community Affairs Director Tom Brizzolara presented the donation to the Rockland Committee to Promote Volunteerism during the 20th annual Rockland firefighter graduation ceremonies at the Rockland Fire Training Center in Pomona. Nearly 50 new recruits from around Rockland marked the successful completion of their fire services training at the event.
