Jonathon Farley hit a grand slam and Kieran Creighton, Sean Flaherty, Matt Russo and Jack McKee each had two hits in Pearl River's 12-2 victory over Nanuet Friday in the opening contest of the District 18 12-year-old tournament at Haverstraw.
McKee and Brendan Tarsnane combined to hold Nanuet to two runs on five hits. Pearl River will play New City Gold 8 p.m. Saturday at South Orangetown.
Joe Ottaviano homered for Nanuet.
