Pearl River Beats North in Play for the Cure Field Hockey Game
Pearl River defeated Clarkstown North, 5-0, at home Saturday.
The Pearl River field hockey team defeated Clarkstown North, 5-0, at home Saturday and that may not have been the Pirates' most impressive accomplishment.
Pearl River raised over $175 for the battle against breast cancer in its Play for the Cure game. The Pirates will look to raise more with a bake sale in school Wednesday.
On the field Saturday, delia White scored two goals and Erin Dolphin added one goal and three assists for Pearl River (3-7-3). Goalie Annie McBride made four saves. The Pirates' next game is 5:30 p.m. Monday at North Rockland.
