Pearl River Boys Soccer Gets No. 3 Seed, Home Playoff Game

Pearl River boys will enter the Section 1 Class A boys soccer playoffs as the No. 3 seed, but the Pirates won't know who they play in the first round until Thursday.

No. 14 Peeskill will play at No. 11 Hendrick Hudson in a play-in game Thursday, with the winner going on to play at Pearl River 3 p.m. Friday. Pearl River Athletic Director Todd Santabarbara confirmed the start time Wednesday afternoon, not long after the brackets were released.

Byram Hills is the top seed in Class A with Lakeland No.2. The other top seeds in boys soccer are Arlington in Class AA, Bronxville in Class B and Schechter in Class C. Play-in games are Thursday with the first round Friday.
