
John Farley and Sean Flaherty each had three hits for Pearl River in a 12-1 victory over New City Gold Saturday at South Orangetown in the 12-year-old District 18 baseball tournament.
Jack McKee sparked the Pearl River offense with a two-run single in the third and Brendan Tarsnane had two hits. Tarsnane combined with Kieran Creighton, Flaherty and Sean Byman to hold New City to one run on five hits.
Marco Feliciano homered and Rory Koch had two hits for New city.
Pearl River will play West Nyack 8 p.m. Monday at South Orangetown in the winners bracket semifinals.
