Nanuet Ends Pirates' Girls XC League Championship Streak

According to Pearl River girls cross country Head Coach Dan Doherty, league championships began in 1983.

The Pirates' girls had never lost one until Tuesday, when Nanuet won the League 4B team championship meet at Bear Mountain. Pearl River junior Kelly Hayes placed first overall in 17:31.91, but Nanuet had three runners in the top five and six in the top eight to take the championship.
