There will be tactical police training going on Friday from approximately 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dominican Convent in Orangeburg.
The session is expected to include officers dressed in tactical gear and carrying weapons near the building on the corner of Convent Road and Western Highway. Police warn that the sounds of gunfire and controlled explosions will be heard.
There will be no road closures related to the simulation, but there could be delays.
