Rockland Health Dept.: Boil Water in Parts of Orangeburg, Piermont, Grandview

The Rockland County health Department issued a boil water order for parts of Orangeburg, Piermont and Grandview Tuesday.

Residents in sections of Orangeburg, Piermont and Grandview are ordered to boil their water before using it for drinking or cooking.

The Rockland Department of Health issued two separate boil water orders Tuesday. The one in Orangeburg was done as a precaution due to a water main break in the area. The order in Piermont and Grandview was mandatory because United Water's shutdown for maintenance Tuesday lasted over four hours.
