2 Peekskill Men Accused Of Illegal Drug Possession
Police said the men were arrested in relation to a non-fatal shooting that happened in Cortlandt.
PEEKSKILL, NY — Two Peekskill residents were arrested after being accused of having illegal drugs after a shooting incident in the town of Cortlandt.
The New York State Police said, on Feb. 16, troopers from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Lee Anthony McLeod, 40, of Peekskill, for fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree reckless endangerment, felonies, and Dashe Leach, 34, of Peekskill, for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
Around 3:15 p.m. Feb. 16, troopers, with assistance from the Peekskill Police Department and the U.S. Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, executed a search warrant at a home in Peekskill which was related to a Jan. 28 non-fatal shooting incident that happened in the town of Cortlandt.

McLeod was arraigned and sent to the Westchester County Jail. Leach was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Peekskill City Court March 10.
