Former Peekskill Mayor, Vince Vesi, and Chair of City GOP Endorses Joe Carvin for Congress

 Peekskill, NY--May 16...Former Mayor of Peekskill and current chair of the City's Republican Committee Vincent C. Vesi today endorsed Joe Carvin's candidacy for Congress in the 17^th district.

"Washington is broken and in desperate need of a leader like Joe Carvin who has the experience and courage to solve our nation's serious economic challenges," Chairman Vesi said. "This year's election is about the future of our country and the desire for lower taxes and a vibrant economy that creates good -paying jobs so that Westchester families can continue to live here. Joe Carvin has spent his career fighting for that and he'll do the same for us in Washington."

 "As the former Peekskill Mayor, Chairman Vesi is acutely aware of how the spending decisions made in Washington trickle down to affect local governments," said Mr. Carvin. The 17^th Congressional District includes parts of Westchester and all of Rockland County.
