Gospel Stage Show Relocates to Tarrytown; Still on for Oct. 16

Marcia P. Samuels play "Tell Hell I Ain't Comin" is moving to the Tarrytown Music Hall due to unexpected closing of the Paramount Center for the Arts in Peekskill.

The show is scheduled to start Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 and pre-sold show tickets for the Paramount will be honored at the Tarrytown Music Hall's Box Office.

The play stars gospel recording artist Bishop Desmond Pringle (Let There Be Praise); R&B recording artist/actor Christopher Williams (I’m Dreaming); R&B recording artist “Diva” Alyson Williams (Just Call My Name); and comedian/actor Freddie Ricks (Comic View, Def Jam, Baby Boy).

The Play: One Sunday morning with Pastor Allgood and his congregation at church. Unlike any other Sunday mornings, where millions across the world go to church, Pastor Allgood, a moralist, puritan, a socalled avid preacher, goes to HELL.
Surrounded by the screams of tormented souls, terror grips hold of Pastor Allgood. A terror that would take him into the realms of everlasting agony played over and over like a broken record. There is no rest in hell; Satan clarifies that when he says: “Forever, do you know how long forever is…and if your human intelligence could even fathom how long forever is, you would not have imagined a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of
forever. Because just when you think FOREVER is over, it starts all over again.”

For Pastor Allgood, FOREVER is too timeless to spend in this place. But there is a ray of hope that shines through the story, that just maybe, Pastor Allgood needs to experience this. If not for himself, then for that man, woman, or child standing on the threshold of good or evil, right or wrong, life or death. Maybe Pastor Allgood’s story is a lesson in life, but more so a lesson in eternity.

“Tell Hell I Ain’t Comin” is a thought provoking, frightening, yet a powerful stage play not to be missed.
Word is, this production is so powerful, it has changed the lives of many of those who have witnessed this  explosive and compelling stage play. There is no way to properly put into words what happens in the theater.
