From Dr. Richard Becker: This weekend was one of the high points of our campaign. On Saturday morning, the New YorkTimes endorsed us. They said we're "a strong candidate" with "a record of service" right here in the Hudson Valley. I've been living and working in our community for decades and understand the issues that all of us have been facing for years, so it was incredibly gratifying to see that this message is getting through and that it earned us this crucial endorsement.
This was a testament to the hard work so many people have put in and the generous support I've received from so many of my neighbors.

Dr. Becker is running against Rep. Nan Hayworth for Congress. His democratic opponents include: Sean Patrick Maloney, Duane Jackson, Matthew Alexander and Thomas Wilson. The primary is June 26.
