The Division Street Grill, located on North Division Street in Peekskill, and Thyme, located on 3605 Crompond Rd. in Yorktown Heights, is offering volunteers 20 percent off of their food and soft drink dinner checks if they bring proof that they volunteer—anywhere. Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct invites neighbors and fellow trail walkers of the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail in Cortlandt to attend “I Love My Park Day” at the trail from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on May 4. 4.) VA Hudson Valley Health Care System - Women’s Health Spring Event
On Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Women Veterans Health Spring Event is offering informational and educational stations, with displays and handouts, to include OEF/OIF/OND, suicide prevention, MyHealtheVet, M.O.V.E. Program, heart health, eligibility for VA care and programs. Presentations and mini lectures on women's health screenings, safe relationships-domestic violence, military sexual trauma (MST), and Women Veteran's Program update. 5.) Peekskill High School Drama Club Presents “Once on this Island”
The Peekskill Drama Club will perform the play "Once on this Island" on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., at the high school, located at 1072 Elm St.
