Best Of Winner: Dream Cakes Has Best Dessert

While readers had a lot of nice things to say about their favorite desserts and the places that make them, Dream Cakes Bakery in Cortlandt Manor came out on top in this week's Best Of contest.

231 voters cast their ballots in and Dream Cakes earned 122 votes, which was 52 percent. It was a close call, because Peekskill's Homestyle Desserts had 61 votes, and the Bean Runner Cafe received several rave reviews in the comments, but Dream Cakes had the most support in the polls.

Dream Cakes offers wedding cakes, tiered cakes, cookies, pastrys and many other assorted baked goods. It is located in the Parkside Shopping Center right on the border of Yorktown and Cortlandt Manor off Route 202. Not only does Dream Cakes win the honor of being Patch readers' choice, but it will also receive a special Patch "Reader's Choice" certificate to hang on their wall!
