Cortlandt Hiring Youth Supervisors For Rec Department

CORTLANDT, NY — The town of Cortlandt is looking to hire youth supervisors to join its recreation team at the Cortlandt Youth Center.

According to town officials, the supervisors’ responsibilities would include opening and closing the facility, managing attendee registration, supervising middle school to high school children, engaging with youth in a safe and production manner, handling appropriate disciplinary situations and enforcing any required rules, policies and procedures.

Qualified candidates must be at least 21 years of age.

They must be able to work at least one of the following shifts: Fridays, 3 p.m.-9 p.m.; per diem shifts Monday-Thursday, 2:30 p.m.-8 p.m.; Saturdays, 1 p.m.-5 p.m. and/or 5 p.m.-9 p.m.

The hourly rate of pay is $17.
