Cortlandt Holding Community Cleanup During April
Gloves and bags will be provided by the town and picked up at Town Hall.
CORTLANDT, NY — Throughout the month of April, the town of Cortlandt wants residents to help with a community cleanup.
The town is encouraging people to gather their family and friends and sign up to spruce up the community.
Gloves and bags will be provided and can be picked up at Town Hall, 1 Heady St. in Cortlandt Manor, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

If you are a student, participating in the cleanup can count as community service hours for middle and high schoolers.
Once the cleanup is over, all you have to do is gather the garbage bags in one spot, so sanitation crews can pick them up on your scheduled garbage day.
