1. Peekskill Community Garden
The PCG is holding a work site party and plot site sign up this Saturday, March 17 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The goal of this day is to put down cardboard and chips to block weeds. Read more on the PCG Patch blog here.

A representative from Senator Greg Ball’s office will honor Sheila M. Guida and Marie Turner as the Town of Cortlandt’s nominations for his Women of Distinction Hall of Fame at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Board meeting. The two women are very active community members. Read more about them .
4. Hendrick Hudson Budget Discussion
The Hen Hud BOE will hold a meeting and budget discussion tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at the HHHS library.
5. Warm but Rainy
Today will be another unseasonably warm day but not nearly as nice as yesterday. The National Weather Service forecast thunderstorms after 2 p.m. with a high near 73. Wednesday is expected to be sunny and around 67 degrees.Â
