Cortlandt Man Accused Of Burglaries In Westchester, Putnam
Authorities said the burglaries began back in October.

CORTLANDT, NY — A Cortlandt man was accused Monday of burglarizing area homes.
The New York State Police said the burglaries were as far back as October in the Philipstown, Putnam Valley and Cortlandt areas.
Troopers were sent to an address near Gallows Hill Road in Cortlandt for a report of a burglary.

With the help of Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and state police K-9, Harold J. Mann, 42, of Cortlandt, was tracked down and arrested, police said.
Further investigation revealed Mann was responsible for multiple burglaries in the area, according to authorities.

He was charged with four counts of second-degree burglary, felonies, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
Mann was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail, $200,000 bond or $400,000 partially secure bond.
