Police: Cortlandt Man Stabs Friends Over Xbox
18-year-old Albert Tapia was arrested for stabbing two friends during an altercation regarding an xbox controller.

The State Police arrested 18-year-old Cortlandt Manor resident Albert Tapia on two felony assault charges after he stabbed two friends over an x-box controller, police said.
Tapia accused the two friends, who are brothers, of previously stealing an X-box controller from him. During the fight, Tapia pulled out a folding knife and stabbed/slashed both victims causing non-life threatening but serious lacerations to their chest/arm areas requiring multiple sutures to close.
Both victims were treated at Hudson Valley hospital in Peekskill with one of the them transported to Westchester Medical Center for surgery on his left arm.

Tapia was arraigned in the Village of Croton Justice court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail He is to appear in the Town of Cortlandt Justice court on March 30 at 10 a.m.
