Cortlandt To Open Cooling Center During Heat Wave
The weather forecast is calling for heat index values up to 98 degrees for Thursday.
CORTLANDT, NY — With heat index values as high as 98 degrees in northern Westchester County, the town of Cortlandt is opening a cooling center.
The town said a cooling center will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
It will be located at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center at 28 Westbrook Drive.
