Cortlandt Seeking To Hire Seasonal Worker
Applications will be accepted until May 19.

CORTLANDT, NY — The town of Cortlandt is looking to hire a seasonal laborer for its Department of Environmental Services.
The position is for four months, town officials said.
If interested, one must be physically able to perform manual labor tasks requiring heavy lifting — up to 75 pounds — and standing for long periods of time.

Work assignments will be outdoors regardless of weather conditions.
A physical agility test must be passed, and candidates must have a valid New York driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.

A pre-employment drug test will be required.
Town of Cortlandt residents are preferred.
The position pays $18 an hour, with no benefits.
Applications, which can be picked up at Town Hall, Human Resources, 1 Heady St. in Cortlandt Manor, will be accepted until May 19.
