1.) Peekskill GOP Nominates Catalina as Mayor

The Peekskill GOP announced Wednesday that it is nominating Frank Catalina as its candidate for mayor in November’s general election. The committee said it planned to announce more candidates in the coming weeks. Read more here.

2.) Speakeasy Tattoo in Peekskill to host Grand Opening Saturday

Registration for the Cortlandt Cowboys 2013-2014 year is now open.  Visit their website here for registration forms, which can be mailed in or submitted at the live registration on April 12. The live registration takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mia Pizzeria in the Cortlandt Town Square, next to the movie theater.


4.) Skinchanted Offering Discounts Starting Today

Think you could use facial or manicure? Well, those are subject matter well out of the realm of knowledge for this Patch editor. Know who can answer your questions? 5.) Gilda's Club Living with Cancer Support Group Meets Today

Gilda's Club Westchester at HVHC is offering a support group for people who have been newly diagnosed with cancer today, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Cancer Center at 1978 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor. For more information, call Miranda Dold, LCSW at 914-644-8844.
