2. Festa Italiana Seeking Nominations for Honorary Italian
Nominees must be of Italian Descent, live or at one time have lived in Peekskill, have done something significant in Peekskill. Mail your nomination to teresa@chang-mowen.com. By July 15.

3. Peekskill Trolley Historic Tours Begin
Stella the trolley is kicking off her summer tour schedule this coming weekend, June 9-10 and June 17. She will also be on tour, offering historic tours of the Revolutnioanry war, Lincoln’s historic visit and her connection to the Wizard of Oz, in July. On Sunday, June 24, Stella is hosting a comedy ride with Patty and Patty, “Two middle aged Italian broads from Hell’s Kitchen,” There are also Hops Hop, Sangria Sunset and a Winery Tour coming up. 4. Poetry Project
The Bean Runner Café is hosting a poetry writing workshop tomorrow from 6 to 6:45 p.m. and an open mic from 7 to 9 p.m. Poets Ibrahim Siddiq and Jamal Spann will lead the workshop. Register at beanrunnercafe.com.
