The Hendrick Hudson Girls Lacrosse program is proud to announce that three senior players from their current team have committed to play college lacrosse.  Lindsey Luposello and Kennedy Sherman have committed to play at Southern Connecticut and Angela Marriott has committed to play both girls lacrosse and soccer at SUNY Morrisville.

All three players have been staples of the program for the past four years.  During their tenure in the girls’ lacrosse program at Hen Hud, the Sailors have qualified for Sectionals each of their four years, earning the #2 seed in the Section 1 tournament in 2012, while helping the Sailors become formidable opponents in Section 1.  Each of the three girls, were three sport athletes at Hen Hud.  Lindsey, Angela and Kennedy all played Soccer, Basketball and Girls Lacrosse together.

In lacrosse, Lindsey Luposello has been a lock down defender for the Sailors during her tenure, offering great leadership and determination while defending most teams top players.  Angela Marriott, who recently scored her 100th goal as a Sailor, has offered great two way play from her midfield position.  Kennedy Sherman scored her 100th goal as a junior, and graduates from the program as the all-time leading scorer in the history of the program.

Head coach, Mary Montesarchio, was very proud of her graduating seniors.  “These girls have worked very hard to get to this level.  I am very proud of them, and it is great accomplishment for our entire program.  We will miss all of them, and I wish them the best of luck at the next level.”

Athletic Director, Tom Baker, agreed with Montesarchio.  “These three graduating seniors have been great student-athletes for the Sailors.  Having the three of them play three sports for us, was a true pleasure.  Their leadership, commitment and pride they took in being Sailor athletes is to be commended.  I am very proud of the three of them.”
