Hudson Valley Hospital to Honor Gov. George Pataki and Community Leaders at 52nd Annual Ball
The former Mayor of Peekskill will be recognized for his work on the HVHC board and in the community.

From the : Hudson Valley Hospital Center will honor former New York State Governor George E. Pataki at its 52nd Annual Ball this year.
Pataki will be one of four honorees to be recognized when the Hospital holds its Ball on October 20 at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, CT. Also being honored that night will be weatherman Jim Witt and his wife Nancy, both long time Cold Spring residents, and the physicians of the NYU Langone Hudson Valley Cardiology Group including Richard Becker, MD; Frank Dorsa, MD; Craig Hametz, MD; Glenn Hamroff, MD; Alan Slater, MD, Howard Tarkin, MD and Patrick Thomas, MD.
“As the former mayor of Peekskill and a longtime member of our Board, Governor George Pataki has deep connections to our community and to our hospital,’’ said Hudson Valley Hospital President John C. Federspiel. “While he may be a figure of national prominence, George Pataki remains loyal to his hometown and that is why he is so loved here.’’

Federspiel added, “This is something that all of our honorees have in common. Jim and Nancy Witt have worked tirelessly to help others, with Jim serving on our Foundation Board for so many years and starting the Hope for Youth Foundation to help youngsters achieve great things. Members of the Hudson Valley Cardiology Group are not only talented physicians, but contribute their time and talents to good causes. We are proud to salute all our honorees.’’
This year, Hudson Valley Hospital Center’s will hold “A Halloween Masquerade Ball” Cocktails, dinner, dancing, and a silent auction will add to the evening’s celebration.
