If there were an emergency at the nuclear power plant, the sirens would be sounded continuously at full volume for four minutes, followed by activation of the Emergency Alert System on radio and television stations to broadcast important information and instructions.

The emergency stations are listed in the emergency planning booklet mailed to households and businesses in the emergency planning zone around the plant.
