1. Last Chance to Register for School Board Member Workshop

The Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association is sponsoring its annual Prospective School board member workshop March 29 in White Plains.  It is open to all who are interested in running for their local school board. Tomorrow is the last chance to register. To RSVP electronically, visit the Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association website at www.wpsba.org and click on the link for Prospective School Board Member Workshop.

2. Intergenerational Leaders Graduated Last Night

The Intergenerational Leadership Academy held a graduation for its 40 students, ages nine to 82, at last night. Congratulations to the graduates of the three-day Leadership Academy.

3. Congratulations Lou Panzanaro

Peekskill High School alumnus and varsity basketball coach for 29 years was honored by his peers for becoming the “winningest” coach ever in Section 1, with 552 wins.

Coach Panzanaro has out won the previous record holder, John Volpe, who had 529 wins

"I would never have wanted to coach anywhere else," Panzanaro said. “It's an honor to be a part of Peekskill's great basketball tradition."

4. Buchanan Easter Egg Scramble; Verplanck Easter Egg Hunt

Easter is still more than a week away, but this Saturday Buchanan is hosting an Easter Egg scramble at the Village Pavilion at 11 a.m. The Verplanck Residents Association is having an Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. this Saturday as well at the Old Pond Park on 8th Street. 
Peekskill is having a Breakfast with the Bunny on April 7.

5. Sunny and Windy

The National Weather Service forecasts today to be windy with a high near 47. The wind should calm tonight and temperatures should drop to around 32.
