Letter to Editor: Vets Invited to Free Trip to WWII Memorial in DC

The following letter to the editor was submitted by Eugene M. Parrotta.

Dear Editor,

In honor of all World War II veterans that reside within the 40th State Senate District, Senator Greg Ball, in partnership with Heroes in Transition and the Military Order Of The Purple Heart, will be organizing a Free trip for WWII veterans to visit the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C. These brave men and women sacrificed so much to fight for our nation's safety and freedom and Senator Ball is excited to facilitate the event, to see the national monument in Washington D.C. that was erected in honor of their service. We will also be presenting a wreath in honor of the 40th District World War II veterans.

The trip is taking place on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Our group will be departing from Senator Ball's District Office, located at 1441 Route 22, in Brewster, NY. The trip will be free for all WWII veterans.  If you are a WWII veteran or know of one, who wishes to attend this exciting event, please contact Senator Ball's office at (845) 279-3773. Please place your reservation soon, as seating is limited.

Yours in Service,

Eugene M. Parrotta,
