Lincoln Depot Museum Celebrates Anniversary With Opening Ceremony

It's been 10 years.

PEEKSKILL, NY — The Lincoln Depot Museum Board of Directors held a ceremony April 27 celebrating the 10th year that the museum has been open to the public.

There were several local representatives and many members of the public on hand to help celebrate the 10-year milestone, museum officials said.

Then on Sunday, author and local historian Vincent T. Dacquino had a presentation on local patriot Sybil Luddington.

An upcoming event is Collectors Corners, open 1-4 p.m. May 18 and 19. Collectors Corner is when a local collector and their collection are highlighted for a weekend in the museum. The owner of the collection is on hand to describe the artifacts and answer any questions for the visitors. This program is included as part of admission to the museum.
