Lincoln Parade, Indian Point Siren Test, Random Acts of Kindness Week
Five things you need to know today, Feb. 15.

1. Lincoln Parade This Weekend
The Lincoln Society is throwing its annual Lincoln Celebration this Saturday, Feb. 18. A parade and reenactment of Lincoln’s visit to Peekskill will take place at the East Side of the city’s Metro North Station. The parade starts at 11 a.m. The Lincoln Society is also holding a gala that evening. Click for more information.

Ther emergency notification sirens will sound during a test of the system on Wednesday, February 15 between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
During this test, the sirens will sound at full-volume for approximately four minutes in Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Putnam counties.

3. Cortlandt Train Station Grand Opening
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the Town of Cortlandt are holding a grand opening for the newly renovated Cortladnt Train Station at 10 a.m. Check with Patch for photos.
4. Lakeland Board of Education Meeting
The Lakeland BOE will meet at Ben Franklin Elementary School at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow.
5. Random Acts of Kindness Week
Students at Frank G. Lindsey Elementarty School acts of kindness in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday last month. This week is everyone else's turn to follow suit. It is Random Acts of Kindness Week, a time to be nice. Check it out here.
