Lincoln-Titus Artists Showcase Their Masterpieces
Elementary students proudly displayed their artwork at this month's "Gallery One" reception.
At February’s Lakeland School District "Gallery One" reception 125 Lincoln-Titus Elementary students showcased artwork nominated by their teachers. The reception featured oil pastels, colored pencils, markers, clay, 3D artwork, watercolor and tempera paint pieces.
Since 1983, Lakeland Central School District has been presenting student artwork through a program called Gallery One. Each month from November to June student artists, parents, guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings and members of the education community come together for an opening reception that celebrates student art. The receptions are held in the school district superintendent's office and adjoining rooms.
